Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Accent Event Group LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("we", "us"), which operates DJ Set Studio — the desktop application and the djsetstudio.com website. By creating an account or using the software you accept them.
The plain-English version
Seven days free with a card on file, then $10/month (or $99.96/year) automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime and keep access until the end of what you paid for. Your license is for you, not for resale. Everything you make with DJ Set Studio is yours. The software is provided as-is while in beta.
1. The service
DJ Set Studio is a desktop application that analyzes video files on your computer and produces short clips. Processing happens locally on your machine. The app requires an account and an active plan (or trial) to run. It checks your subscription each time it opens; when a plan ends, the app locks at the next open. Clips already saved to your computer remain yours.
2. Subscription, trial and renewal
DJ Set Studio is a paid, auto-renewing subscription. Every new account gets a 7-day free trial; a payment card is required up front. After the trial, the plan renews automatically at $10 USD/month (or $99.96 USD/year) until cancelled. The first charge is made on day 8 unless you cancel before then.
Cancel anytime at /account → Billing. Access continues to the end of the paid period, and there are no partial refunds for unused time. Refunds are available within 14 days of a first charge, on request to support@djsetstudio.com. Renewal charges are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe through Clerk Billing. We never store your card details.
3. Your license
One subscription licenses one person. You may install DJ Set Studio on your own computers. You may not resell, share, or redistribute license keys, or use one subscription to provide services to multiple businesses. We may revoke keys that are shared publicly.
4. Your content
Your footage and the clips you create are entirely yours. We claim no rights over them. Your footage is processed on your computer and is not uploaded to us. When you request an AI caption, only the short caption text context is sent to our caption service; it is not stored or used to train anything.
5. Acceptable use
You must own, or have the rights to, the footage, audio and music you process, including the likenesses of people who appear in it and any venue permissions. Don't use DJ Set Studio to create unlawful, infringing, harassing or deceptive material, and don't reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the software or bypass its licensing.
6. Fair use of AI captions
AI captions are unlimited for normal human use. Automated or scripted abuse of the caption service may be rate-limited.
7. Beta software, no warranty, limitation of liability
DJ Set Studio is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that clip detection and captions will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: support@djsetstudio.com.
